Milk! Records are proud to announce the signing of New Zealand’s Tiny Ruins for Australia. To celebrate, she has unveiled new single ‘How Much’ along with an accompanying video directed by Charlotte Evans. Watch below!
“How much would you be willing to give?” Hollie Fullbrook asks point-blank in ‘How Much’, ahead of woozily discordant strings and a stomping neo-psychedelic rhythm. The lyric brims with imagery of supermarket breakdowns, lilos, snarks and silos while an anthemic guitar hook soars throughout.
The video was filmed on location at Titirangi’s beautiful Lopdell Theatre. Director Charlotte Evans experimented with real time projections as well as shooting through textured glass and using theatre spotlighting.
Tiny Ruins will tour Australia solo supporting Jen Cloher. Prior to these shows, the full band heads to the UK/EU for a month long tour late August through September. She will then play headline shows in New Zealand and support The Chills on their nationwide NZ tour.
