“We’ve gotta let go of all of our ghosts, we both know we ain’t kids no more” sings Adeleon ‘Send My Love (To Your New Lover)’. The video, directed by Patrick Daughters (Feist, Muse, Yeah Yeah Yeahs), takes the idea of ghosts figuratively and layers those ghosts around Adele to give the video a hauntingly beautiful effect.

“Ghosts in this case are versions of ourselves that remain stuck at particular point in the past.” Explains Daughters“So when Adele sings about letting go of all of our ghosts, I picture other versions of her that are in a different place than where she is now.”

Debuted worldwide on the live broadcast of the 2016 Billboard Music Awards on Sunday 22nd May in Las Vegas, as well as online moments ago via Vevo, the video is the latest single to be taken from the acclaimed album 25.

Introducing ORB

ORB 2014

The skies have opened and dropped on us a trio of kids from Geelong, Australia packing some seriously futuristic sludge: ORB. A heaping helping of proto-metal chops meets paranoid sci-fi fantastical ravings, replete with some tasty syntheisiser werk, and lovingly close mic’d to perfection by Total Control’s own Mikey Young. These epics swing with demonic swagger and crackle with the static of a menacing future, twisting and churning through loose-limbed riffery, all punctuated by a wail emanating from behind enemy lines.

ORB are proggy, in-the-pocket, head-trippy fuzz, on LP for your top shelf stash, and plans are in the works to bring their dystopian groove your way soon. In the meantime, the lead single ‘First And Last Men’ has premiered on Flood Magazine. Listen to it below.
