Kim Gordon shares first solo album No Home Record

With a career spanning nearly four decades, Kim Gordon is one of the most prolific and visionary artists working today. She unleashes her first ever solo release, No Home Record, today through Matador.

Produced by Justin Raisen (Angel Olse, Yves Tumor, Charli XCX etc.), the album is an outstanding display of Gordon’s characteristic resistance to any formula. Artist curiosity still at the core of her output.

When Gordon first began playing music in the early 80s, she used a guitar, a drum machine, and some lyrics sniped from magazine advertisement copy. No Home Record echoes of that setup, in both form and concept.

You only need to watch the video for single ‘AirBnb‘ to see that.
