Thirty Days of Yes wraps up

The final day of the Mixtape for Marriage Equality kicked off this morning, Thirty Days of Yes will release a special surprise 10 extra songs, including a stunning new track from Jess Ribeiro and a demo from Sui Zhen.

The project will continue with more tracks, along with a new song from Jarrow premiered today at 1.30pm on FBI Radio. See all of the released tracks here.

Over the thirty days there was a love song duo from Courtney Barnett and Jen Cloher, an unreleased track from Oh Pep!, a new mix of Total Giovanni’s latest single ‘Your Light’, and Teeth & Tongue shared ‘Turn, Turn, Turn’ live at Longplay. Listen below!

Thirty Days of Yes was developed in response to the Australian Marriage Law Postal Survey, to promote the ‘Yes’ vote and a positive show of support for the LGBTQI+ community, particularly the youth community who might not have a voice in this public debate. 100% of the profits go to LGBTQI+ youth organisations, Minus18 and Twenty10.

An overwhelming amount of surveys have been returned via post, with an estimated three out of four eligible Australians having their say. However it is still possible to drop off your ‘Yes’ vote in person, before 6pm local time on Tuesday November 7 to your local ABS office in all capital cities. Details here.

Thirty Days of Yes is available to purchase for $15 with an option to pay more from thirtydaysofyes.bandcamp.com
