In the lead up to the release of their latest album Toward The Low Sun, out on Friday 24 February via Anchor & Hope / Remote Control, Dirty Three have added three new dates to their upcoming Australian and New Zealand tour.

Catch the band perform at WOMADelaide in Adelaide on Saturday 10 March, and headline shows at The Glasshouse in Port Macquarie NSW on Monday 12 March and Starcourt Theatre in Lismore NSW on Friday 23 March.

Dirty Three’s headline show at Theatre Royal in Castlemaine on Sunday 18 March has also completely sold out.

Dirty Three’s last tour of Australia was in 2009 when they performed their album Ocean Songs in its entirety as part of the Don’t Look Back classic albums series, a run of shows that sold-out across the country. This was a tour that confirmed Dirty Three’s status of one of the greatest live acts in the world.

The planets will once again align in 2012 as Dirty Three tour Australia and release Toward The Low Sun, their first new album since 2005’s Cinder.
