This September saw psychedelic-disco adventurers MIAMI HORROR unleash their first new single in over three year’s, Summer tinged track ‘Real Slow’. The band have now called upon the likes of Plastic Plates, LDRU, and Australian locals Gold Fields, to spin the original into three full-on club catchy as hell remixes, each of which are available in high quality WAV format for free download below.

According to the band’s producer Benjamin Plant, ‘REAL SLOW’ was written around similar personal experiences that they were having at the time. “It’s about finding that place or person where you feel secure enough to take things slowly. We wanted to write a song that is more than just a concept, we wanted to write about something we were actually experiencing rather than something imagined. We wanted to see how that emotion translated into our music. I’ve never been a huge fan of listening to songs about love, no matter how painful or joyous they are, they can seem mediocre, but once you have those experiences for yourself then suddenly, all those songs make sense and become something you can really feel.”

MIAMI HORROR will return to Australia in December to play their first live shows since 2011. The band will play a short run of festival and one off shows whilst in Australia including Perth’s SETS ON THE BEACH and the new Groovin’ the Moo curated festivalTHE PLOT.
