STREAM FUTURE OF THE LEFT NEW ALBUM IN FULL!

Future of the Left will release their highly anticipated new album The Plot Against Common Sense on 8 June 2012 via Remote Control.

But before it is released, you can STREAM the album in its entirety HERE thanks to SPIN.

Featuring 49.8 minutes of singing, shouting, slinking, smashing and (at times) sobbing, The Plot Against Common Sense follows the release of their 2011 EP Polymers Are Forever. Recently expanded to a four-piece, initially as a bet, the band originally conceived the record as a Broadway musical based on the recent British phone-hacking scandal but were forced to abandon this idea due to budgetary restrictions. This is not a joke. After writing hundreds of songs, fifteen were recorded and placed into an order deliberately selected to exhibit the full dynamic range of the experience, a gift which will be lost to anybody who regularly utilitises the shuffle function on their mp3 player.

In addition, the band has released a radio podcast¬†featuring frontman Andy Falkous and guitarist Jimmy Watkins. The duo discuss the new record, play tracks off the album, goof around and debut a non-album track, ‘Home Taping Is Killing Me Susan’. Listen to the podcast below:
