Cat Power has just released second single ‘Cherokee’ from her upcoming record Sun. A beautiful reworking of ‘Cherokee’ by Nicolas Jaar is also available for free download.

Sun is the first album of original material from Cat Power in over six years. Chan Marshall performed and produced Sun herself in various locations including a studio she built in Malibu.

Sun will be released on Friday 31st August through Matador Records / Remote Control Records.
