‘Golden Hour’ is the second single from Nick Huggins’ sophomore solo album Five Lights. Drawn from a palette of national guitar, homemade electronics and Nick’s soft spoken voice, the individual sounds loop and shift, the subtle detail of each coming to the fore throughout the song. ‘Golden Hour’ is accompanied by an intricate hand-drawn animation by Lucy Fahey, the sketched studies therein mirroring the quiet observational moments in the music.
