With it’s imminent release, just over one week away from the drop of Deep Impressions -Katalyst’s highly anticipated third album, the award winning prolific producer extraordinaire Ashley Anderson aka Katalyst delivers installment number 2 in his mixtape series.
Teaming up with the good people over at Monster Children, Katalyst brings you Children of the Apocalypse.
Katalyst concocts a brilliant selection of familiar, yet not so familiar sounds by delving deeper into the crates of some of the best known producers, if you enjoyed Back to Basics (or if you haven’t got it yet…get it here) you’ll no doubt dig Children of the Apocalypse.
Philadelphia’s Kurt Vile and his band, The Violators are heading to Australia for the very first time as part of the 21st Meredith Music Festival and will also embark on national headline tour.
Kurt Vile might belong to a long lineage of classic American songwriters, but he’s the only one who’s alive and in his prime today. He has been on a slow burn accent since 2008, steadily rising from the American underground through relentless touring and the release of four smashing albums. His latest release Smoke Ring For My Halo perfectly showcases the amazing range of Kurt’s voice.
